Join Morpeth & District u3a

If you would like to join us, all you need to do is to complete a membership application form and pay the appropriate fee

Our membership year runs from 1st September to 31st August the following year.

Membership fees for 2025 to 2026 are £15 for full individual membership and £25.00 for couples. Associate membership is £10 for individuals and £15 for couples. Associates are full members of one other u3a. Anyone joining after March will pay half the annual fee. If you are interested in joining or require further information please contact the Membership Secretary here.

TERMS AND CONDITIIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

All members must:

 Abide by the Principles of the u3a movement

 Always act in the best interest of the u3a and never do anything to bring the u3a into disrepute

 Abide by the terms and conditions of the constitution

 Treat fellow members with respect and courtesy at all times

 Comply with and support the decisions of the elected committee

 Advise the committee of any change in your personal details

 Abide by the member Code of Conduct

PRIVACY STATEMENT

Morpeth u3a processes member information so that we can keep you informed about events, groups and activities as part of your membership. Morpeth u3a’s lawful basis for collecting this information is a contract. In processing this information Morpeth u3a will:

  • Store it securely
  • Use it to communicate with you as a member of the u3a
  • Share your information with group leaders for those groups of which you are a member
  • Send you general information about the Third Age Trust*

*The Third Age Trust are the national office to which all u3as are affiliated.

Please be advised that you can request for your data not to be used for the direct postal mailing of Third Age Trust magazines at any time by contacting the Membership Secretary.

This can be done by post to the address on the form, in person at a general meeting, or by email. if you pay by bank transfer please email the Membership Secretary to let her know it is done.
